Proven Leadership

David Lukes has served as President and Chief Executive Officer and has been a member of SITE Centers' Board of Directors since March 2017.

Prior to joining SITE Centers, Mr. Lukes served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Equity One Inc. from June 2014 until March 2017 and served as Executive Vice President from May 2014 to June 2014. Mr. Lukes also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sears Holding Corporation affiliate Seritage Realty Trust from 2012 through April 2014 and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Olshan Properties from 2010 through 2012. From 2002 to 2010, Mr. Lukes served in various senior management positions at Kimco Realty Corporation, including serving as its Chief Operating Officer from 2008 to 2010. Mr. Lukes has also served as the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Director of Retail Value Inc., which previously owned and operated shopping centers located in the continentinal United States and Puerto Rico and is managed by SITE Centers, since 2018, and as an Independent Director of Citycon Oyj, an owner and manager of shopping centers in the Nordic region listed on Nasdaq Helsinki, since 2017. Mr. Lukes also serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT).

Mr. Lukes holds a bachelor's degree in environmental design from Miami University, a master's degree in architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in real estate development from Columbia University.

Conor Fennerty has served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer since November 2019. Previously, Mr. Fennerty served as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets from April 2017 to November 2019. Mr. Fennerty has also served as Executive Vice President of Retail Value Inc. since November 2020.

Prior to joining SITE Centers, Mr. Fennerty was a Vice President, Senior Analyst at BlackRock, Inc., a global funds manager, from July 2014 until April 2017. He was also an Analyst at Cohen & Steers Capital Management, a specialist asset manager focused on real assets, from May 2012 until July 2014, and prior to that, was a member of the global investment research division of Goldman Sachs from May 2010 until May 2012.

He earned a B.S.B.A. with a major in finance from Georgetown University.

John M. Cattonar has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer since May 2021. Previously, Mr. Cattonar served as Senior Vice President of Investments from April 2017 to May 2021.

Prior to joining SITE Centers, Mr. Cattonar served as Vice President of Asset Management for Equity One from August 2015 to March 2017 and at Sears Holding Corporation affiliate Seritage Realty Trust from July 2012 to July 2015.

Mr. Cattonar earned a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Aaron M. Kitlowski is the Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, a position he assumed in November 2017. Mr. Kitlowski has also served as Executive Vice President and Secretary of Retail Value Inc. since 2018.

Prior to joining SITE Centers, he served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Equity One for six years. Before Equity One, Mr. Kitlowski served as Chief Counsel of CIT Group Inc. for six years and as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett for seven years.

Mr. Kitlowski earned a Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
