Leasing Management Training Program

The Leasing Management Training Program is designed to build future leaders within the Leasing Department at DDR. This unique 12-month rotational program will expose individuals to a variety of leasing regions and departments to help develop trainees into well-rounded leasing professionals. The training program will focus on the core functions of the leasing teams and will expose individuals to the operational areas of the business including development, legal, construction and property management. Trainees will become proficient in utilizing leasing management technology platforms and systems that enhance workflow and optimize efficiency. Individual mentoring with a key member of management is an essential component of this program.

Rotational assignments will be based on career development goals and the business needs of DDR, and will include the following departments: Leasing – Southern Region, National Accounts, Leasing – Western Region, Leasing – Northern Region, and Peripheral Land Development.

Application and Interviewing Process

College recruiting begins in September of each year, and formal offers are typically extended in December. Interested students should submit a cover letter and résumé here. As applications are reviewed, phone interviews will be conducted, followed by office interviews at the Company’s headquarters in Beachwood (Cleveland), OH. Rotations begin in June every year and are reset every three months thereafter.
